Back to Charlotte Museum of History (The)
We had visiting guest from out of town and decided to take them to the Charlotte Museum of History. What a surprise we found. The staff were more than accomodating and the facility is beautiful. We never imagined that this wonderful museum was in Charlotte. Parking was no problem at all and the price was very reasonable to our group. They even took us on a tour of the homesite, which they said was the oldest homesite in Mecklenburg County. We will definitely go back.

Friendly staff welcomes you as you walk in and it just gets better and better after that. Neat exhibits. A great place to learn about Charlotte's past all the way back to colonial times!

Great fun for the whole family. Very friendly staff that really do know their stuff. You really need to go on one of the tours to make it truly worthwhile.

Very beautiful place to learn about some history of Charlotte. My father in law laid the tile in this museum and he did a great job!
