Back to Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/South Park Wonderful stay LOVED the TV in the bathroom mirror! LOVED the mattress and crisp clean clean clean sheets! LOVED the free breakfast! LOVED the approach up the street with the trees with fairy lights and the fountain. I was in town for a sad event (funeral) and this place made me feel better.

Reviewed by: angie from on May 16 2006 Nicest Hampton. Hotel was located as a center piece in an exclusive upscale mall. It was relatively new and everything inside from the entrance way to the halls and even rooms did not remind you of a moderately priced hotel. No complaints what so ever.
Reviewed by: Arthur from on Mar 16 2006 Not your typical Hampton Inn Fabulous location in the middle of South Park--great boutiques and restaurants, including a movie theater that are just a stroll away. At night, Phillips Place is lit up like it's Christmas time and it's just a nice view from your hotel room if your overlooking the strip. Hotel room is a good size, comfortable bed, large tv, and clean bathrooms. Definitely a great steal if you need to be in this part of Charlotte. Safe, convenient, and it has loads of parking. You don't need the frills or room service when you've got the Palm restaurant next door and PF Chang's, Dean and Deluca, and Upstream (upscale seafood restaurant) that you can walk to. Stay, eat and drink late, and then walk back to the hotel...definitely a great combination. Definitely recommend.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 02 2005 A reminder of home! The first impression of the Hampton Inn Suites is that it is a very clean establishment. The room itself is very spacious but,the televisions are outdated. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The only downfall of our stay was the lack of room service. The full kitchen did offset the absence of room service to an extent.
