Lionshead is home to the Valley's only gondola, which provides a very comfortable ride up Vail Mountain. The ride begins in the heart of Lionhead's pedestrian neighborhood and takes you to some of the best ski runs, as well as the Gore Range Nature Discovery Center. You can hop back on at the top and ride back down, which is a great choice for those in search of a great view of the Valley. Admission is free for children, as well as Thursday-Saturday from 4p-9p.
