Joaquin Torrens Lladó first came to the Balearic Islands in the summer of 1967 and established a reputation that spread to Florida, Stockholm, Venice, and Madrid with his travels. The museum, originally the home of the artist, features over 120 works that take the visitor through each step of the great artist's progress. Oils, drawings, watercolors, sculptures, and some personal objects fill each room, and provide a comprehensive tour of the artistic vision of Señor Lladó. After Lladó's sudden death in 1993 the works of the artist have been carefully maintained by the Government of the Balearic Islands. Exhibitions change every six months.
