Strawberries take center stage in the design of this spacious basement restaurant, a well-known fixture on the hip-happening Trzech Krzyży Square. The lavish interior design and awe-inspiring atmosphere – best described as Alice in Wonderland meets Marie Antoinette - is the creation of Magda Gessler, Poland’s leading restaurateur. In close competition with the décor and ambiance is the seasonally-changing menu - created in celebration of MoPo (Modern Polish) tastes – presenting dishes like Lovage Whirled Catfish with Chanterelle Gelé served with dill horseradish or Dumplings made of celery root filled with boletus mushroom on a veal broth that taste every bit as superb as their description suggests.
