The Cité Épiscopale de Meaux is a complex of religious buildings which includes the cathedral, the episcopal palace, the old chapter, the chapel, and the garden, all organized around a rectangular central court. The oldest parts of the Cité date to the 12th century, when Meaux became an Episcopal town, and renovations and additions to the complex were constructed in the 15th and 16th centuries. Today, the Musée Bossuet is housed within the Palais Épiscopal, which became a municipal museum in 1927.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
