Outside the restaurant, a large neon sign loudly proclaims its name. Inside, the decor is elegant and upscale for Devon Avenue Indian restaurant standards. The ceiling is painted to resemble a happy, cloud-filled, blue-sky day. Specialties include the assorted appetizer platter, tandoor king prawns and the kadal chili chicken. Most dishes are under $10, seafood under $13, briyani rice dishes under $15. A more affordable weekday lunch buffet is also available. Unlike many Indian restaurants in Chicago, Tiffin offers a decent beer and wine list as well.
