Had never heard of this place--saw it in a brochure and the hotel, and figured it might be nice.

This home was beautiful! The tour was informative and well as enjoyable. I have visited the home twice, and look forward to seeing it a third time when we go to New Orleans this year.

Although this estate has been on TV a few times , it was not very impressive. The gardens are average for the size of the home and era. The most intersting part of the tour was the story regarding the owners.

Although this house is not as old as most historic homes we visit, the story was interesting. The real jewel of the house is the gardens. Do not go if you are not interested in the outside. The gardens are beautiful. The inside is nice, but not so great as historic homes go.
