Reviewed by: Christiane from on Aug 27 2006 Old World Elegance I am enchanted by the luxurious appointments in our suite overlooking Lake Malaren. The breakfast is scrumptious. I appreciate the attentive and knowledgable staff. The restaurant is my favorite place for an evening meal in Stockholm, because you can see what you select with a nice variety, even for those of us not crazy about herring. I love the central location next to the National Museum and across from the boat tours. The King's Palace, Gamla Stan, NK and Skeppsholmen are just a short stroll away. I like the jewelry on display in the library. If you want to host a party with cost as no object, the Grand is the place. Amazing!

The people were very nice, polite and very helpful. The food was incredible. The hotel was very clean and well stocked. Basically, we felt like a king and queen living there. They did everything to make it an unforgetable stay and that you will not find at many hotels anywhere.
