Five Star Experience
Highly recommend a tour to give an overview and highlights of the musuem's collections. All guides are knowlegeable. The young Native American guides gave us an additional personal insight into the significance of the items and their continued use in everyday life. It was a distinct pleasure to have customs and exhibit objects described in the Navaho language along with an English translation.

EXTRAVIGANZA.
GREAT EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE POEPLE OF THIS CITY... THIS MUSEUM SEEMED TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ORGANIZED. A GREAT WAY TO GET AWAY FROM THE HUSSLE AND BUSSLE OF PHOENIX AND ENJOY ART.

Important Part of History
As an educator, I visited knowing that it was about Native Americans. I didn't realize how it would leave me affected about how Native Americans have been treated as it did. Our guide was wonderful. The mural says it all about the treatment. The display of the Indian schools was also eye-opening. Also, as I am in a wheelchair, the museum was accessible. If I had not taken the tour, I would have not realized how accessible it is. Our guide's directions for the elevator were good.
