HUGE disappointment
Negatives : The receptionists booked a double room for 3 persons.. and even when we checked in he didn't notice that we are still 3 persons (and that we had already payed for three persons) .. then we complained about that..and instead of changing us room..they brought a some kind-of bed which expands in normal bed..and they let it outside the door.. at a 5* hotel i dont think guests should tide up their beds LOL!!! except from this.. the lounge place for the breakfast of the "executive rooms" was so small and didnt have even the basic.. i think at Mcs i would had eaten better breakfast..the rest of the days we went outside or at the non-lounge hotel place to eat.. another thing is that the cleaners didnt really clean the room..they just changed pillows (i doubt about that too anyway).. cause we could find dust everywhere in the room when we returned in our just-cleaned room.. the only good thing was the location of Sheraton but i think that with such an ammount of money someone can find even better places to stay in that location..also adding that we stayed 5 nights there.. deffinately i wont visit Sheraton again..Stockholm sureee!! the city was great!!

Worst hotel visit in 45 years
My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel last week, feeling all the while like we were in a battle zone. Construction everywhere. Most services and facilities closed, with no reasonable substitutes. Shocking that Sheraton would not inform guests at the time of their reservation (ours was made months in advance) of the fact that there would be no lobby, no restaurant, a temporary registration area, unending noise every day and a staff that could only offer their personal apology. We paid a competitive room rate for a third class experience. The elevators often failed to work, the A/C did not work (the service technician told us it actually was 40 years old and not able to do a proper job), the new TV failed to work for two days (cables were not even connected when we arrived), there was no restaurant, only a make-shift bar where a limited menu and very limited seating were available, and we went a full day without hot water. We calmly discussed our concerns with a number of hotel staff (all of whom were courteous and pleasant), asking why we hadn't been informed of the major construction and why the hotel wasn't offering some compensation for the inconvenience, dust and noise. After revisiting the hotel Web site today and taking the visual that is still listed there, I am even more shocked at the lack of candor exhibited. Do yourself a favor, book elsewhere.

What a let down...
I just checked into the hotel. I travel to Stockholm very often and have tried other hotels but was anxious to stay at the Sheraton.

Nice location
Situated just infront of the water front and minutes away from Gamla Stan, this hotel is great value of money. The executive lounge is a big disappointment though...

Can't wait to go back!
Stockholm was, by far, one of the most amazing places we've ever been too. Our stay at the Sheraton made the trip that much better. The staff did an amazing job of making us feel welcome and they were all so nice. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. The hotel is also located in the heart of Stockholm and only a block away from the central bus station. I'd highly recommend the Sheraton to anyone who plans on visiting Stockhol; you won't regret it!

Not convinced
The location of the hotel is great but we stayed there for four nigths and the hallways stank from smoke. We found the concierge less than helpful and lacking an interest in helping the guests find that special restaurant tec. I felt as if I was bothering them. Rooms are clean and the beds are great and the breakfast buffee is fantastic. The cost of using the phone and Internet was higher than expected.

Excellent
I'm an business traveler and this was nearly perfect. The staff is great and helped me by booking a car rental for the weekend. The rooms are spacious and the views are outstanding. You're just a short walk from the heart of Stockholm. The fitness room is a tad small for such a huge hotel. But if the waether's nice you can run or walk along the rivers and canals.
