Don't Miss the Betsy Ross House!
This house is a true representation of how working class people lived during the 17th century. The story of Betsy Ross being sought out to make the first flag was fascinating. She was quite an entrepreneur. I can't wait to visit the house again.

Betsy Ross
Well it was OK. I was kind of disapointed in the house. I was expecting it to be a grand home and it turned out to be quite small. If fact if you have claustraphobia or are a large person you might want to think twice before going inside the home. It is very small and tight. I'm thinking that the people of the 1600-1700's were very small and short people. Looking at her grave and that of Ben Franklin they could not have been much over 5 ft tall. But it was interesting and worth the money and time to say that you were there once.

I thought it could have been way better. I was bored the whole tour, as I was waiting for excitement. I should have gone to the LIBERTY BELL! Or sunbathing in the park.

Betsy Ross Tour
Betsy Ross House Audio Tour is a choice and its one of the best choices. Her house is off the main street and within walking distance. A three-story house with a basement. Betsy Ross was a woman with a trade-upholstery. She had 3 husbands which was news to me. Mr. Ross died shortly after they were married. Betsy was the first entrepreneur woman which to me is a secret since women's rights were well kept in that time. There is an actress who plays Betsy Ross and it makes you feel as if you have a real interview with Betsy herself. Great place for kids.

Very sweet!
This was the highlight of my visit to the area. Well preserved and perfectly charming. We learned many things about Betsy Ross some of which were a surprise.

it was ok
it was a nice little place, not much to do other than go on the tour. when you first walk in, all you see are souveniers, so parents with little kids beware! i'm not sure if we really should have to pay for it though.

most interesting not of just betsy ross, but the house and history, you can almost imagine living, and working in such a political, bustling city in that time era
