Tasteless
We arrived at 8:30pm. Nice layout and bartender upstairs pleasant. Played pool met some nice people. I went to go to the bathroom and you can't bring your drinks to the bathroom! A staff member was chasing me down the little hallway to say that I couldn't bring my beer with me that I had to leave it yes leave it unattended on a shelf outside the bathroom hallway which is very unsafe anything can be slipped into the drink while in the bathroom - crazy & stupid rule. A hostess should be greeting people to let them know this or a sign stating so should be posted and explained why??? I still can't understand the reasoning as none was given to me. Once the place gets busy the staff and bartenders become very unfriendly. Security decided that they wanted to have one of us leave - again he did nothing wrong and they claimed they could not tell us why he was being asked to leave. Trust me we are all in our 40's and we are there to enjoy selves without having children around. And then of course when you ask them a question, then that person was asked to leave of course that the issue when you have security people who are young enough to be your children and act cocky and arrogant and of course want to throw their status around. So we left willingly and with no trouble...HOWEVER once outside it was apparent as to one of the reasons why...there was a long much younger crowd waiting to get in and of course they would be paying a coverage charge and the bar would be racking in more money. Of course with the competition in Toronto it's very easy to find much nicer more friendly night club and we can spend our load of money elsewhere. I would not go back to this pompus night club again and would highly not recommend it for a good time out.

Reminds me of Halifax
I liked the bartending staff, and we were grateful for the smaller dance floor in the upper bar. I liked that there is a broad age range in the clientele. My one criticism is about the music. I love the retro selection, but all the songs are mixed into the next one too soon. Those of us who loved this music when it was on the charts want to hear the whole song...not everyone out there has a short attention span these days.

Not a late night bar
Liked the ease of attaining drinks, disliked the quality of women, some of the staff, and the tricky stairwell to enter the smoking patio.
