An Urban Planner's Dream
If you're an urban planning geek or just like to look at the nation's history, Elfreth's Alley is a pretty cool place. I happen to love neighborhoods, their history and how they developed. It's amazing to me that this street of residential homes - the oldest in the nation - is still standing and that people are actually living in the homes. Awesome local history.

A walk back in time
It may just be an alley, but walking through this alley lined on both sides by quaint 18th century homes, did give me the "walk back in time" feeling. Located in Old City (in the vicinity of the Independence National Historical Park), this place is worth a quick photo stopover. At least, you can then say that you have walked along America's oldest continuously occupied residential street.

Just a street...
Just a street...albeit a old street with grand old buildings. It's worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. I like the price...free.
