Since opening in late 1997 with musical movers and shakers from Trees, the Curtain Club has managed to become one of the premiere showcases for local rock bands. It has two club spaces, a small front room called the Liquid Lounge, open to 21+, and a performance area in the back that is open to 17+ and is rocked by a huge sound system. Each week there is a day of Acoustic Jam night in the Liquid Lounge. Everyone is invited to bring a guitar and join in the mayhem. The Liquid Lounge is home to live hip-hop on weeknights.
