The Rockefeller Chapel was, indeed, named after the famous tycoon, and is the tallest building on the University of Chicago campus. With a Guastavino-tile ceiling, massive organ pipe and carved oak seating, the atmosphere is perfect for the pomp and circumstance of a graduation ceremony or a production of Handel's 'Messiah', which the University of Chicago Motet Choir has performed annually for more than 50 years.
