Best veggie dish in Bristol
I dined early with a pleasent river view and ate a Med veg pappadelle main course, which was done with care and effort. There were great lifting flavours, caraway and preserved lemon i think. The little appertiser and homemade bread were a nice touch as was the additional side veg of Moroccan beans and peppers, all inc. All for £7.95, was good to see, i'll be back.

Spoiled Birthday
My darling daughter decided to surprise me with a party of 26 people for a sunday lunch here. What a shame. She spent hundreds of her hard earned pounds only to recieved what was, frankly, second rate service, food, accomodation. 1 waiter (miserable) for all those people. food served without vegetables. Long gaps between courses. Poor service of drinks, running out of bitter (sacriledge!!!) and a discarded birthday cake (even more sacrilege!!!!!!!)

Don't Bother
The service was dreadful. One waiter for a large group. The foad was dreadful. Hugely overpriced and poor quality. The fooad was also cold on arrival. Due to sub standard food some people sent theirs back to the kitchen and sat without a meal. No alternative was offered. Would not recommend this at all.

Worst meal ever
I have just had the worst meal of my life at the Glass Boat. We were there on Friday 28 September as part of a group of around 40 people for the set menu. I’d been there previously as part of a large group and remember quite enjoying the food then so was looking forward to it. This time the menu selection offered to us was basic and unimaginative.

Best scallops in Bristol
The scallops starter I had was absolutely sensational. The rest of the meal was enjoyable too; it's a nice place; one I'd go back to. One of my favourites in Bristol.

The food was fantastic. The service was nonintrusive. Had an air of sophistication and romance.

Excellent
Te Glass boat is a fine resturant, I know at least six people who Love it there with a passion. Anyone who says it is bad has not been there ever! The service is great to, You don't get rushed and the view is excellent. The people who work there always are kind. I love it.

Disappointing
The whole place was frankly disappointing. The decor was faded, the table settings were cheap looking, the menu was very limited, the portions were small and the food wasn't anything special, especially for the price
