On our way Tomorrow
We love to see the Tree and watch the Ice Skaters. Rockefeller Center is a winter wonderland, a exciting place to visit anytime of the year, but especially at Christmas.

Nice
We didn't stay long. But it had alot of see. Of course the Ice Skating wasn't there. It was just a cafe. But the flags of different countries was nice. And we got to see alot of things near there. St. Patrick's We walked to from here and the NBC STUDIO's and the Today show we walked to. It was nice

Top of the Rock
I've been to the observation decks at Empire State Building and Top of the Rock (both twice) and I will honestly tell you that if you only have time to do one, go to the Top of the Rock. Same price, better experience. The elevator ride is awesome and the views are fantastic! There are 3 levels at Top of the Rock (only 1 at ESB) and the crowds are smaller. We walked by the ESB on our last trip about 9 PM and the line was round the block! We got straight up on both trips taken TOTR (October and June). You can't see Central Park from ESB, but the full park is able to be viewed from TOTR.

Fun
Loved the Center. NBC tour was the best part of our trip to NYC. The Center is clean and in the heart of all of the shopping.

Pride of the Big Apple
Elegantly decorated during the Christmas season, the best time to visit the Rockefeller Center is undoubtedly in December. The main draws are the big Christmas tree and ice-skating rink, which makes for a wonderful photo opportunity. However, the ever-present crowd can be a deterrent for the perfect photograph. You can also catch NBC's Today show being taped live in the morning, or go to the Top of the Rock for a view of the Big Apple.

Top of the rock
I recommend going to the top of the rock as opposed to going up in the Empire State Building. We got right in with no lines, costs a lot less, and got practically the same view, if not better because you got to see the Empire State Building. Amazing views. Can't pass this up!
