Hold that brush Garland from TX, thats a dark over-exaggeration you're painting in saying that the MS and LA guest reviews are all negative! Like you, We too love this fine spot (I'm a MS native) & I noticed many MS & LA (Southern) reviews agree as well! This is even more a gem considering the usually lower price. Tip - pricing works like booking plane tickets, & telling them about the posted prices you see online.
Reviewed by: Ed from on Jan 14 2008 Not worth the buck! This hotel is very run down and the service is horrible. For the money I paid for my room, I expect for my room to be cleaned in a timely manner, to have things fixed or sent to my room within 30 minutes, not an hour or two hours. The staff is friendly, but they are not very informed about things going on in the hotel. The minibar is extremely expensive. The hotel also has a serious plumbing problem. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a nice stay. The hotel is beautiful if you like French, British, or Old English taste.

The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.
Reviewed by: sumbba1 from on Aug 03 2007 let's give New Orleans a break! I just returned today from my most recent stay in New Orleans at The Windsor Court. I'm amazed at the negative reviews from people in Louisiana and Mississippi regarding The Windsor Court. Have you people forgotten Katrina? The hotel is lovely, the staff is superb. Yes, there are some scratches and marks on some of the furniture, but the location is wonderful and the hotel is like having your own place in New Orleans. The city and the businesses in the city need our support and help--no one else is doing anything! So, go to New Orleans, stay at The Windsor Court, shop at Rubensteins and Saks, spend some money and do your part to make this city the jewel is should be.
Reviewed by: William from on Jan 29 2007 Nicest Hotel in New Orleans Staying in many hotels in New Orleans I found this to be the nicest with the best service. After the storm the hotel is still the nicest and is centrally located for whatever your trip may call for.
Reviewed by: Zach from on Dec 11 2006 If walls could talk........... They would say knock, knock, knock, because that is all we heard during our stay. We understood that the storm knocked out a few things but be considerate to the guest that are stayiing in your hotel. The food was excellent, the pool was ok. We must take our hats off to the staff, although the construction started early in the morning we spoke to one of the desk managers, Chantal who immediately got the workers to stop the hammering. Darren at front desk was also helpful.
