Back to Hotel Brunelleschi BAD EXPERIENCE I can basicly say, they ruined our vacation. The day before they showed us a very nice room , when we checked in for the hotel the next day, they gave us the dirtiest , ugliest room they had. Carpeting was dirty, walls were stained. Receptionist were rude except one guy. Bellboys were nice and helpfull. Breakfast was okay. If you are older or have walking problem I definetly woulnd't recommend this hotel. You need to take 2 different located elevators to go to your room, and some walk and steps between two elevaters. Location is good. I wouldnt recommend this hotel.
Reviewed by: NES from on Jan 10 2009 horrible experience The staff was VERY rude! Our rooms were not what we had requested. They could only change one. Once we had one changed, it was not yet ready. The cleaning lady was extremely rude. She was obviously mad about something! She came in slamming doors and mouthing off. Fortunately for us, we couldn't understand a word she was saying. The man who brought our baggage up never once apologized for her behavior, but seemed somewhat embarrassed by her behavior. The staff at the front desk was rude. We didn't want to ask them anything. They didn't offer any other help with where to go or what to do or how to get around. Their favorite response was NO! The room was ok. Small beds. Hard mattresses. No A/C. We had to keep the windows open at night to cool the room but the outside noise was very loud. Carpets stained, wall stained. Not very clean. We had a driver come and pick us up one morning and when he inquired as to who we were, the front desk was very rude to him telling him there were too many people in the lobby, we could be anybody. The hotel is very old. So if you decide to still visit be prepared to take different elevators plus still have to climb up several stairs to get to your floor. However, the breakfast was very good. And the location wasn't bad. But, I would not recommend this hotel!
