The hotel is inside a former monastery and has historic and classic Italian ambiance. The Piazza inwhich it is located includes a church and the towns' orphanage. We never went inside either one, but we loved the location. About 20 steps away from the hotel and to our right is a street that leads directly to the Duomo, and when we turned the corner and saw it for the first time it was magnificent! This hotel is in a great location! Also, Michaelangelo's David is around the corner at the Accademia which we walked to.

Our travel agent in the States found this hotel for us. It is 2 or 3 blocks north of the Duomo, & just around the corner form the David. Loved it. Ha a view of the Doumo form our room!!
