The Friends of '78 Derngate,the only Charkes Rennie Macintosh house outside Scotland(in Northampton)spent a few cultural days in Bilbo(Basque spelling).We found the hotel clean,very friendly,helpful staff,well equipped(except for tea making facilities in the bedrooms),great location and good value.The city has much to see,besides the Guggenheim,the Museo del Belles Artes,the old town,the funicular,the transporter bridge and a excellent transport system.The city is clean with attractive shops etc,A place recommended for a visit.The city is to be congratulated.
