Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 11 2008 Houston's best kept secret! I ended my birthday at The Houstonian...and found it to be quite relaxing and quite. The room was impeccably clean and everyone was extremely nice including other guests and staff. The location was convenient to everything in Houston and was in the most serene place I could imagine. I felt as though I left houston for a weekend. I also admire the health and relaxtion theme the hotel portrays. I would definitely stay here again...:)

Reviewed by: chapis from on Jul 17 2007 Marvellous Place The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

WE ATTENDED A WEDDING THERE AND THAT WAS THE NICEST WEDDING I HAVE EVER SEEN, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. IT WAS SO WELL PUT TOGETHER. IT SEEMED NO ONE HAD ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. I DIDNT GET TO EXPLORE ALL THE HOTEL, BUT ONE DAY I WPULD LIKE TO. AT THE WEDDING ALL OF THE HOTELS STAFF WAS VERY POLITE.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 16 2006 Uncaring Service Growing up in Houston I have been here many times and always found it to be very elegant. I thought I would spend my wedding night here before heading out for the honeymoon. I needed to be at the church by 4pm for photos which coincides with check in. They were completely unwilling to help with an early check in though. When I called the day before they told me to call back the next morning. When I called the next morning they told me to call back at noon. When I asked for them to call me back they refused. There was just a coolness and unwillingness to work with me.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 01 2005 Fabulous, Romantic, Beautiful We loved the ambience of the Houstonian Hotel. The lobby and public areas are wonderfully decorated with oversized furnishings. They have 2 great restaurants, one that serves a lunch buffet on weekdays, and the health club is first rate. The hotel is centrally located in Houston, minutes from the Galleria and Downtown.
