I travel extensively throughout Europe, and the Hafen Hamburg Hotel rates as one of the best values per cost that I have ever experienced. The hotel is located on a cliff overlooking the harbor (hafen), hence its name. The views are spectacular. The rooms are small but modern, and extremely comfortable in the northern European way. I always look forward to going to Hamburg if for no other reason than to stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is varied and enormous. The hotel also has a small bar area, and there are numerous bars in the immediate vicinity (it is not too far from the Reeperbahn)
