The architecture of the place itself is awesome! It has a good collection of artifacts from the region. I last visited the museum in 1998. I have been there twice. I did not complete the whole place yet as I am still amazed at exibits I had seen the last time. The Eygptian exibit is so well displayed that one can feel the atmosphere as if in the real tomb. WoW! Only the ones in London and New York can compare in the same categary. Would love to go back again to try to finish it!!!

Just check it out. Of course the exhibition is nice (lots of stolen goods from other countries), but the café is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful bulding, fab palm tree court card, lovely cafe and collections and exhibitions where hours of fun can be expected! There is definitely something for everyone, all ages, to be found here. I warmly recommend it.

Fabulous place to while away an afternoon - we spent a rainy Sunday afternoon just musing around. Great variety of exhibits - and a fabulous building.
