Back to Castell de Montjuïc Visited Montjuic in May 2008 Take the two day bus tour of Barcelona. It gives you an overview of the main tourist hot spots and allows you to get off and on where you please. The most we waited on a tour bus was 10 minutes. Please take the Montjuic stop. Montjuic offers beautiful view of the Barcelona bay and city. For the minimal price of the cable, the city gets the applause!

Reviewed by: WilliamM from on Nov 23 2007 Stunning Views After taking in the stunning views of the city - which we dicovered was much bigger than we had imagined - we sat at the cafe in the warm sunshine and watched the world go by. It is a peaceful place and one we will be sure to visit on our next trip to this wonderful city.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 30 2007 Great Views While hiking around the city me and my friend kinda stumbled upon this place and could not have been more fortunate. Its basically a sweet looking castle fortress at the top of a big hill. The view of the city is just amazing and you get to look out to the ocean. I would like to go back one day if i am ever in the Spain area.

It smelt, the people were all poor and discourteous, and the price was astounding. I recommend that nobody ever goes there, or they will be sorry.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 26 2005 an unbelievable sight and sound Visiting the Montjuic fountains at night is one of the most lasting and amazing memories of my travels. Usually a 20 minute "light show" then a 10 minute lull, then another show with different music. From delicate classical, to Freddie's Barcelona, to opera. The atmosphere is a delight, the event well-attended and the panorama of the city beyond is stunning. Watch one show close up to the fountains, and then another from the top outside the palace. (Be sure to check which evenings the shows are on)
