Everything is maritime themed in this restaurant named after Christopher Columbus' ship. Plenty of wood paneling and struts with a certain resemblance to a sailing vessel create an adequate atmosphere for chatting around a Spanish menu. With shellfish being the strong point, the menu also includes mero en salsa verde (grouper in green sauce), grilled seafood, atún al ajillo (tuna fish steak in sautéed in garlic butter sauce) and empanada gallega (Galician patty), besides lomo al horno (roast loin.) Normally you will see beer, wine or soda on the tables, plus plenty of bread for the sauces. It is not creative cuisine, but it is substantial and delicious.
