This city is Germany's best keept secret. The natural charm and beauty of this city are hard to beat. Great hotels like the Vier Jahreszeiten can make you feel like a King for a day or week if you stay long enough. The wine Restaurant Jacob, by the river serves the very best food and wine and you do not want to miss tasting it.The food served is amazing and creative. The people in Hamburg are outgoing fun, adventures and love visitors. I've always returned to this city when ever I'm in Europe and would never want to miss it. It was a very interesting day at Hagenbecks Tierpark for me. You need a whole day to look at all the different animals there. So it whould be the best to be at the opening at 9 oclock at the gate. Enjoy your day there and relax a bit on the bench near a lake, while your hear the lions crying.
