Video Guide Come dine where steak is king. This townhouse restaurant is located in the Theatre District's Restaurant Row and is a favorite with the celebrities. Be sure to view the 20-foot Wall of Fame, covered with over 150 notable famous faces. The lively restaurant features four large dining rooms and a cedar wood bar in the lounge, but the real star here is the prime aged steak. Pasta dishes and seafood are also good. Try the famous Caesar salad and leave room for the toothsome New York cheesecake.2 ¢/min and up – call home from over 100 countries!http://travel.comfi.com/Best Value. We chose to eat at Joes by looking through one of te restaurant guides, the description sounded perfect, plus the hisory of the restaurant, feature films, Jimmy Stewart however this 'steakhouse' is the last place on earth any celebrity would dine. The service was cold and atmosphere uncomfortable, it looked like all were disappointed with their food or it was a funeral parlour we had stepped into. Steak was rare (freezing cold in centre) vegetables were well past there best and this ruined a really good day in NYC. Want good fillet steak cooked perfectly?? Go to Samplings, Crowne Plaza Broadway&49th! Sorry Joe's but it's time to call it a day!
