Situated on a barge beside the Brooklyn Bridge, this superb, elegant restaurant is where old-money New Yorkers and people who want to impress their dates gather for special occasions. It is incredibly romantic, with a spectacular view of lower Manhattan right outside the window and beautiful flowers blanketing the room. The service is excellent, and the creative American cuisine is in the capable hands of chef Brad Steelman. Jacket and tie are required for men at dinner.

I love this place!!
Romantic with a great ambience, superb service and great views. The food is excellent, although not the very best available in NY. However, as an overall experience it is hard to beat. Our friends come here when in town and they love it too. Ideal place for a special date or for a marriage proposal!! This place sums up what New York means to me.
