Carnegie Deli is loud, chaotic and expensive. However, for more than 60 years it has successfully served gargantuan sandwiches to countless residents and tourists looking for an authentic taste of New York Jewish culture. With the wholesome sandwiches, you surely wont go away hungry. The subway-style seating (with strangers, in other words) bothers some customers, but most just go with the flow.
