This is the kind of place your grandparents loved - and probably still go to. Owned by ex-Mayor Richard Riordan, it is open 24 hours a day and has not closed since 1924. The doors don't even have locks! Breakfast, lunch or dinner will more than fill your tank for a very reasonable charge. For dinner, the steaks are juicy and come with steamed veggies and potatoes. The eclectic crowd leans more toward the working stiff, but everyone is welcome here. No credit cards are accepted, but there is an ATM on the premises.
