Surprisingly, it's not easy to find gourmet Mexican in the City of Angels. Here's one place, however, that serves up high-quality food with an accent on fruits of the sea. The crowds flock to this Westside branch of the East L.A. original (La Serenata de Garibaldi) for the shrimp quesadillas, fish enchiladas and a seviche that's delicious. The owners don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait. It's worth it - even the salsas are out of this world.
