Ristorante Primavera is a Northern Italian restaurant that has a first-rate service, delicious food and a friendly, family atmosphere. The clientele includes mostly older Upper East Side residents. Owner Nicola Civetta treats customers as if they were guests in his home. The elegant dining room features wood-paneled walls, ceiling panels of walnut, marble columns and framed paintings. Appetizers include the delicious Tonno alla Tartara (tuna tartare with sundried tomatoes), pasta fagioli soup, and marinated salmon with herbs and chives. Entrees include Vitello alla Finanziera (rolled veal in spinach, prosciutto and mushroom sauce).
