This is not your average sushi bar. The décor in this popular restaurant is modern noir, with high-backed black leather window booths and red lights. The sushi is amazing (flown in fresh three times a week) and perfectly portioned. But what puts this place over the top are the other menu items, like the miso-marinated silver cod that melts in your mouth or the loaded Continental miso soup with clams, seaweed, tofu and rice. On the weekends, you'll find a 'Mercedes crowd' in their Manolo Blahniks but you can miss the crowds during the week and at lunch.
