Overview
Despite its name, this fine dining venue is large and lively with big-time rustic charm. When NAU students set out to impress a date, or are dining on their parents' dollar, this is where they head. The menu concentrates on Italian specialties but also includes a fair share of steak and seafood dishes. The soup, shrimp, salad and fresh fruit bar is legendary. Though the dining room has a somewhat formal air, the adjacent sports bar is usually loud and lively, especially on NAU game days. Opens everyday at 11a.
As I thought about Granny's closet, and what a wonderful place it might be.... about ol granny's fresh baked pies and genuine prime rib, little did I know once I arrived, that I would have shitty service and terrible food. Bringing my disapproval to the manager, I did not know that an old bald queer man was going to 86 me for life In reality I would like to thank him for doing this because I won't return and neither will any of my friends and neither will any of their friends...so if you are really considering going out and getting something to eat, don't stop at Granny's because the bald grinch is going to be there this Christmas. So why ruin your holidays when you can help the homeless instead. Happy Holidays! and THANK YOU old bald queer man
I had the best prime rib of my life as a I visited through Flagstaff. I think I lost count at 25 of the amount of TVs in the Bar. Anyways, it was remarkable.
