One of the most intriguing attractions in the region, this diversion focuses on things that fly. Butterflies take center stage—learn how they grow, what they eat and how to lure them into your garden. Part of Tradewinds Park, Butterfly World includes a breeding laboratory, butterfly museum, and insectarium with displays of unusual insects and butterflies from around the world. Visitors are not allowed inside after 4pm.

Great for a break from hectic lives!by Yahoo | 2008-06-13 19:25:25 |

I visited Butterfly world as a child in 2002. I remember the vibrant colors of both butterflies and birds. The soothing atmosphere literally let's you take a break from reality. I would recommend this for a family with kids as my siblings and I had lots of fun.

This is awesome~by Yahoo | 2008-01-06 16:52:05 |

I love this place so much, because there are so many beautiful butterflies, and I love nature! It is just a great expirience! All the different colors flying around in trees, flowers, and I just love it!

Fantastic!!!by Yahoo | 2005-12-24 19:31:51 |

Admission was a little high, even with the Dollar of coupon available at the butterflyworld.com website. $35 for adults (Including our 13 year old) and $25 for children. Aside from that it was stunning. 4000 or so butterflys in a huge aviary, unbelievable. Stunning. The kids were facinated and it ended up being the best 100 dollar day have ever had. Lorikeets are awesome, bug museum is.... well gross. I've seen plenty of wild cockroaches in my time. You can get a hotdog or personal cheese pizze snack for just a few dollars. Worth the money, go now!

AMAZING!!!!! Most beautiful thing I have EVER seen!by Yahoo | 2005-11-25 21:13:29 |

Butterfly World is like a dream. This attraction is something you can't experience anywhere else. There are more spectacular butterflies and birds than you could ever imagine. The interaction with the butterflies and birds is unbelievable. My family and I decided to become annual members. I didn't realize how cheap the memberships are and how much you get for being a member -extra discounts in the gift shop, VIP seating at the concerts and FREE admission to their monthly Gardening Seminars. I would highly recommend this attraction to all ages of people. It is worth every penny! A+++ Five Star Rating!!! Best Attraction Yet!!!

Pricy, but well done.by Yahoo | 2005-10-01 18:59:48 |

The Liberace influenced piano music is fitting for this very cool attraction, but can be over powering what is really on display. Inside this unique netted sanctuary are what seems to be millions of butterflies free to fly about

We had a great timeby Yahoo | 2005-05-02 05:20:12 |

Anyone that is looking for something that is relaxing and enjoyable and educational, this is a great place to go. The butterfies are just beautiful and feeding the birds was so fun. Thanks...

A lovely afternoonby Yahoo | 2005-04-22 02:14:24 |

Took my 5 year old grand-daughter and the experience was delightful. The butterflys were beautiful. Especially liked the the "rain forest". Will definately return when the grandchildren are older. If you take in the whole place, from beginning to end there is much to be learned.

A must-do!by Yahoo | 2005-04-21 15:57:25 |

This is a great place for families! The butterflies are gorgeous and everywhere - we had a few land on us which was a lot of fun and provided a great photo op if you can catch the moment. Don't miss the lorikeets!

disappointedby Yahoo | 2005-03-19 02:19:26 |

While I enjoyed the butterflies, gardens and birds, I was disappointed in the amount of sections they have for butterflies. There are two sections of butterflies. They butterflies are gorgeous but, it's just not much. The cost is rather high for what you get.

Really makes you see the variety that Mother Nature has given us. Wonderful!
