We always love the Skybar and went there off and on for years,particularly when out of town friends were visiting. Fantastic view! As a bar, it was only average, but what a setting! Too bad.

At first I was hesitant going up the elevator that sits just inside a vestibule off of the alley. Don't get me wrong, the alley is actually a walkway to other establishments. But the music drew me up to the 4th floor of "heaven". During the day, you can sit and watch the boats and soak up some sun while drinking your favorite drink. At night, the view of the river is breathtaking with all of the lights and bridges glowing. Back to the music, wonderful 60's to 70's guitar playing with other instruments added as needed usually by one or two people. This is a "I will not miss going there when within 30 miles of the place". I am going to be there in 2 weeks and I cannot wait with my new camera in hand so I can bring that wonderful view back home and relive it everyday!
