Eating a hamburger at the Matanzas Seafare Company should be a crime. The waterfront restaurant, located off Matanzas Pass, offers a variety of fresh seafood prepared in a variety of ways. Try a fresh catch fish sandwich (USD7.95) for lunch or a shrimp salad (USD10.95). For dinner, start off with a gator tail appetizer (USD7.50), followed by blackened, crowned or stuffed grouper (USD17.95). There are a few offerings for vegetarians. Eat outside, looking over the water, or inside, looking at pictures of Pete the Pirate egret. There is also a lounge upstairs with live entertainment.
