Overview

On Messe Frankfurt's ground, around 120 trade shows take place every year, attracting more than three million visitors. Besides some major international events like the Frankfurt Book Fair or the International Motor Show (IAA), the facility hosts some major business events in the fields of aeronautics, technology and architecture, reflecting the dynamism of the city as the economical center of Germany. The Messeturm, a 256-meter high skyscraper is the symbol of its power. Also on the Messe, the Festhalle is home to many cultural events, exhibitions, tournaments and concerts. Other Messe events include the January Christmasworld trade fair.
