    It just feels goodby Yahoo | 2007-08-15 03:41:10 |

Historic Main street is an incredible experience. It is a real Texas (American) Gem. We visited during the Christmas Holidays where Carolers and Horse Drawn carriages went up and down Main. We came back for "Grapefest" in the Summer and had one "Heck" of a good time drinking Dancing and cutting loose (a lot more than I care to admit!) The Old Town feel is warm, the shop keepers were really nice, and everything is well kept. We found another little treasure,"Let's Pretend Tea Parties". We booked a party for our Granddaughter and her friends there after seeing a party in progress. It let's a little girl be a little girl...plus the Tea Room is so quaint. So... we will be going back again, maybe we'll become regulars.

I loved the blues restaurant off Main Street and Dallas Rd. It's called Main Street Blues Room and the food was excellent and the music fabulous. Their is a live band each night (tues- sat). They have the best bar in town too!! It's a hidden treasure!!
