Overview

At the Place du Molard, in the very heart of the city, lies Globus-Grand Passage, Geneva's oldest department store, where you can find almost everything on one of its four floors. On the ground floor there is a lovely covered market with vegetable, fruit, fish and meat stalls, as well as a bakery. A large watch section as well as a cosmetics section is also on this floor. Upstairs there are clothing departments for children, women and men, including a number of designer labels; computer and electronic equipment; sportswear; toys and home furnishings. The store has a self-service restaurant, a pizzeria and a juice bar.

Entering Globus for the first time, just go and be amazed! It's best to just take the time to look at everything - the displays are a treat, the amount of things to purchase overwhelming and the clothes are fun to try on and create scenarios where to where them. I was disappointed though, when returning after several years, to see that the market place on the ground floor had given way to a 'food court', swiss style. Good crepes and cafe, but I missed the selection of beautiful fruits, vegetables, breads and cheeses.

its a nice place to shop with lots of different variety of things. close by to molard that has even better shopping- Chanel, etc. and close to a bar and lots of small restaurants that are all delicious! Enjoy!
