While the this hotel's decor is somewhat sparse, it offers a full complement of facilities for reasonable rates. A swimming pool, tennis court, bar and restaurant are located onsite. The Royal Palm claims the distinction of being closer to the airport than any other island hotel. It is only five minutes walking distance. Downtown Freeport is a three minute walk, while the International Bazaar and the Casino at Bahamia are approximately 10-15 minutes away. As with many island hotels, the beach is accessible via a free shuttle.
