A popular meeting spot in the heart of Salamanca Place, Retro Cafe is convenient on weekdays or as a respite from the Saturday market. The name says it all for decor. 50's kitsch adorns a tiny space with as much room again outside at the tables on the pavement. Many would argue it has the best coffee in town. The cakes are pretty good too; and if you stop for a meal, you will not complain later of feeling hungry. The size of the kitchen makes you wonder how they do it.
