Overview
The mysteries of the world are revealed in this information-packed, scientific fun house. Over 500 exhibits, of which 60 percent are hands-on, help to answer questions such as: How many atoms do you weigh? What is an atom anyway? Have you ever taken a quantum leap? And, if so, how many calories did you lose? These questions and many more will be answered at this excellent educational, entertaining half-day jaunt through the magical and logical world of science.Open Hours
Mo to We from 01:00 PM to 09:00 PM, Fr from 01:00 PM to 09:00 PM, Sa to Su from 10:00 AM to 09:00 PMBeing fascinated with Science, my son had a grand time at the HK Science Museum tinkering with all the interactive displays and models. The museum also houses the World of Mirrors which was quite fun, even for my 3 year old daughter. Highly recommended to grade school and even high school students. Very informative. When we visited, the other side was occupied by the HK Sports Museum, and accross was the HK Cultural Museum. Wow! Three museums in one trip! Well worth the trip! Fun and educational activity for the whole family
Great place for kids above 4 years of age. Many hands on activity and best of all, its not crowded so all can have a go with the various exhibits. Spent close to 3 hours there and can easily spend 4-5 hours at a go. Definitely worth a visit.
Very good to view, especially on a Wednesday between 1 and 9pm when it is free!!! Got lots of things in there to mess with, and a lot of friendly Chinese people to have a bit of banter with!
