Overview

Another great place to take the kids! This venue, with its prominent domed theatre, features exhibition halls, a lecture theatre, and a "Space Theatre" showing films and presentations generally, but not necessarily, on the themes of science, nature, and technology. So if rocket ships, telescopes and moon rocks interest you, then you will want to check this place out.

Open Hours

Mo to Fr from 01:00 PM to 09:00 PM, Sa to Su from 10:00 AM to 09:00 PM

Unimpressiveby Yahoo | 2008-02-07 02:15:34 |

This museum, although it does contain some interesting information, has several exhibits that wouldn't pass muster in a second grade science fair. We went to see a presentation about black holes in the planetarium and it was painfully boring, with a poor English translation. Although it did contain some interesting background on how black holes are detected and how they work the presentation was so boring that I had trouble keeping my eyes open, despite the fact that I'm genuinely interested in physics, astromony and cosmology. Perhaps a good place for kids, but if you're from the US and have had experience at planetariums or seen the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC, you're likely to be disappointed.
