Overview
Modern decor, an upbeat atmosphere and great microbrews are the highlights of this restaurant-brewery. The spacious bar area is much larger than the dining room. Between 4:30p and 8:30p, the place gets packed with businesspeople from the surrounding area. While there's no telling which beers might be on tap on any given night, you can always expect to have a choice of seven or more. On the diverse food menu, the signature item is the jambalaya. Pizzas are another popular item from the kitchen.Open Hours
Mo to Su from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PMOur family has visited Honolulu, HI for the past 20 yrs. Our family consised of 8 people. This was our first and last time we will ever eat at Brew Moon. The service was average, and the food and prices were rediculous. 4 of us ordered rib eye steaks. The waiteress came back and told us they only had 3. THAT SHOULD OF BEEN OUR FIRST CLUE! The 4th steak ordered was a New York Strip, which when served, was about 1/4th of an inch thick, and tougher than shoe leather! The average cost per person was approx. $20.00 a piece, and with each dinner, no salad, bread, pasta, or anything else served. I would highly suggest that no one else, waste their time or money at this place. After 20 years of experience eating in Honolulu, this place rates at the very bottom of the list. An extreme rip off. With drinks, 3 beers and 1 mixed drink and 2 sodas, our bill was $250.00. Spend your time and money somewhere else, or you too will be extremely disappointed. In other words, Brew Moon Sucks!
well i used to work there and know that the food is above average and a little pricy. On the other hand. If you wanna get wasted on some delicious different beers that use water dredged from the ocean deep (you can taste it, light and wonderful) then by all means feel free to drink and feel as if a whole new world of beer delights have touched your taste buds. Kudos to the brew master, he is a cool guy and he knows his stuff.
I would not recommend this restaurant. First, our server took forever to even bring us water or take our order. Second, our food took way too long to come out. We didn't even order that much food, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Third, the food wasn't very appetizing and not worth the price. Not a very good experience at all.
When: Sat: May 26, 2007 12:00 Pros: Attentive Service, Hip Decor, Great Tasting Food Cons: Crowded parking garage at Ward Centre This was our first time here in about 5 years. Our first experience wasn't that memorable, thats why we haven't returned since. After a morning at Ward Centre, my family decided to have lunch at either Ryan's Grill r Brew Moon. My teenage daughter looked at both menus on the outside of the restaurants and decided upon Brew Moon. To our pleasant surprise, the service was attentive & helpful from beginning to end. The interior decor looked different from the last time we were here and gives it a good modern vibe & hip. My wife and I had the quesadilla's and my daughter had a pizza. All dishes were excellent and satisfying. We didn't have any room to look at the dessert menu. We would definitely be back when we are in the area. Small tidbit: Brew Moon also has a 2nd restaurant location in Waikiki. At the corner of Kalaukaua Blvd. and Ala Moana Blvd. Right before Tony Roma's & across the street from Cheeseburger Waikiki.
