The show is big on theatrics, but the magic is same old stuff. The food was pretty bad. As for the racist atmosphere, all the Asians, niostly Japanese tourists, are given poor seats on the sides and back, while the non-Asians, whites and blacks, are given the best front and center seats.

Probably the worst display of "illusion" I have ever seen. It is obvious that those who work in this show have gotten lazy because the tour buses fill his theatre everynight. I dont think the japanese really know good magic, so maybe they were impressed but nobody else was Of the "1 hour show" hirokawa is only on stage for about 15 minutes of it doing magic. the rest of the time is spent telling lame jokes, working with people he planted in the audience, terrible hula dancing Do not waste your money

My husband and I where really looking forward to go to the Magic of Polynesia. We arrived at the hotel where they were doing construction, and went to go check in for the show and we decided to upgrade to the Lobster & Steak dinner with the VIP seating. Well let me just start with the dinner, the Lobster was frozen and the 3 oz steak they only serve it one way "burnt". I have had bigger pieces of beef jerky. It was awful. The dessert we took it with us for a game of Hockey. Man, do not waste your time going to this! It was awful! They would have been better of serving McDonalds. The show...lol, I do not think SHOW is the right word here. Anyway it took forever to begin, they started off with this lady that was dressed in a very nice black floor length sexy dress, s but the fact is she probably looked better in it thirty years ago!!. She took about 35 minutes to welcome everyone in every known language and sung every national anthem possible; she mostly spoke Japanese and talked about herself. This was the worst show I have ever been to and would not recommend this show to anyone. It was the biggest waste of time and money.
