Overview

This statue of Christ can be seen from the road that runs between Ibiza and San Antonio, about 3 kilometers from Ibiza. The statue stands as a monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and it was erected after the Spanish Civil War in the same spot where in the past a flour mill called "na Ribes" once stood. This type of monument was erected all over Spain in the 1930's. From this vantage point, you can also enjoy excellent views of the valley.
