Overview

Ölberg is an inn located quite high above the city, half way between the city centre and the raised district of Hungerburg. The hotel has been in business since 1896, and its restaurant is still a fabulous choice for classic dishes at decent prices. Although you cannot see the city from this green area, it is actually only about 11 minutes from the Old Town, yet seemingly far from the city's hustle and bustle. Guests can stay in Ölberg in plain but pleasant rooms, some of which even feature a balcony. The Ölberg is a real bargain.
